Walking into a regular gym can be intimidating. Rows of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment—but no clear plan, no guidance, and certainly no one watching your technique. That’s where injuries can happen and nobody cares. Also, your progress will stall.
At CrossFit Actus, every single class is led by a coach. We’re not just here to yell “3, 2, 1, go!”—we’re here to teach you proper technique, ensure you’re moving safely, and help you scale workouts to match your current fitness level. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll always know what to do, how to do it, and how to do it safely. We have a process we call Mechanics, consistency and only then relative intensity. We want to make sure training is done in exactly that order.
2. Small Classes = Big Impact
We cap our classes at 10 people—on purpose. This means your coach actually knows your name, your goals, and how to help you improve. You’re not a number in a crowd. You’re part of a tight-knit team. We also do goal reviews in 3-6 month intervals where we sit down with each of our members individually to assess and re-assess how things are going. We want to make sure you’re continuing to see results and happy to make adjustments to make sure you’re getting closer to your goals.
The smaller class size also makes it easy to get to know the people you’re training with. These aren’t just workout buddies—they become friends, teammates, and a support system that keeps you accountable even on the days when motivation is low.
3. Community Makes You Better
Let’s be honest: hard workouts are tough to do alone. Pushing yourself through burpees, squats, or row sprints in an empty garage gym or commercial facility is… well, brutal. And most of the time, you don’t go quite as hard as you could.
But when you’re surrounded by people who are pushing themselves too—who are cheering you on and grinding beside you—you naturally rise to the occasion. That’s the secret sauce of CrossFit: the energy of the group makes you work harder than you ever would alone. That’s how results happen.
4. It’s More Than Fitness
